At Possum Pottery Texas, we find joy in creating beautiful, functional objects. We hope our pieces bring friends and family together for special occasions, everyday meals, and quiet moments of relaxation.
In addition to creating pottery, we enjoy teaching students of all ages, and look forward to making new friends while helping others begin a pottery journey of their own.

I find a lot of satisfaction in creating beautiful functional objects. I appreciate the sensory experience of working with clay and the life lessons that can be learned from the process.
I started my pottery journey in the early 90s through high school and college and now I’m hoping to make it a full-time gig. I’ve been an educator for more than a decade and enjoy working with students of all ages. I look forward to making lots of new friends while helping others begin a pottery journey of their own.

I have a background in Neuroscience research and found my way to working with clay ten years ago to combat the long, rainy Pacific Northwest winters.
I enjoy working with a medium that combines aspects of design and science. Working with clay allows me to play by using analytical and creative brain functions, and I learn something every time I sit down to create.
I am excited to be back in Texas and creating pottery with my friends and I hope we can share our love for making pottery and passion for teaching to build a community around making functional pieces of art.

I am a young boy who enjoys playing video games like Minecraft and Nintendo, playing with my friends, and playing with my dad’s VR headset. I am learning to be a potter and I have a business that makes cardboard weapons. I love graphic novels, dragons, RPGs, and cats.

I don’t know much about clay and pottery, but I am learning more every day. In the meantime, I keep the books and count the beans.
